Connor,

Just know that no matter what you do, people will always be against you. Without “haters” there is no motivation to get better. We played at Milton together and I knew from the moment the two of us took the floor together your freshman year that you had the ability to be something special. Roll with the punches, keep your head held high, and do your OWN thing. You’ll be happier for it. Trust me.

When it’s all said and done, basketball won’t matter. As someone who’s a college student who grew up around the game my whole life I can tell you that you’ll never lose the love for the game. When you’re in the real world, you make your own legacy. Enjoy the last few years of college, be it playing basketball or not. I know I try my damnedest every day.

There were alot of things that went into the decision and I am very excited about my future. I’m not sure I understand what you mean by going “to a lower school and not play alot of ball”.

UGA is in no way a “lower” school than Furman

maybe so but VERY debatable. You can find college rankings that will show both sides of that argument. UGA is a very good public school. Perhaps one of the best publics in the nation after UVA, UCLA, Will and Mary, UF, Ga Tech, UNC, VA Tech, Illinous.

Connor, I hope you the best. But it doesnt make sense. If you were going to a better school and not play alot of ball. That makes sense. Or if you were going to a lesser school and play alot of ball. That makes sense. But to go to a lower school and probably not play alot of ball. That doesnt make sense. I can only assume that there were other compelling reasons and for that I hope you the very best
